Proven strategies to enhance employee performance and well-being
Welcome to Cambridge Business Performance
Cambridge Business Performance delivers strategies to support employee wellbeing and improve performance within the workplace.
Through our services, employees will:
- Recognise unhelpful beliefs and behaviours.
- Develop skills and strategies to manage stress and build resilience.
- Improve their mental health.
- Feel more confident.
- Develop a healthier work-life balance.
Our approach enables us to address common mental health issues such as anxiety, stress and burn-out. These often lead to presenteeism where employees continue to work, often for extended hours, at a substandard level of health and performance leading to burn-out.
We also work with common workplace issues such as perfectionism, confidence, public speaking, over-working, unrealistic goal-setting and managing work-life balance.

Our Approach
We offer an occupational therapy approach to workplace problems. Occupational Therapy focuses on how our well-being is connected to our performance and how this in turn helps us to lead meaningful and healthy lives. We deliver our services through individual coaching sessions and group trainings.
Because Occupational Therapy focuses on occupation it improves our wellbeing within our occupational lives. This fits well within business settings and takes a practical approach to wellbeing which tends to be fast-acting and effective. As a result coaching and training sessions make sense to our clients who find the process both interesting and enjoyable. This is a definite benefit.
We find that our clients are highly motivated and engaged in the process. They are keen to carry out experiments within their own lives and to carry out recommended research, such as listening to TED talks, podcasts or checking out articles that relate to their particular situation. Not only is this additional research interesting but it normalises our clients experience, removing any stigma and helping them to learn new skills which are transferrable between their professional and personal lives.
Occupational therapists can help employees who are functioning at their lowest levels due to illness as well as supporting employees to maintain and improve at their highest levels of functioning. This breadth of scope is possible because occupational therapists are adept at improving performance no matter what the current level of function is. This practical and versatile approach suits many professionals who do not want to be in counselling but do want to achieve fast-acting changes within their life. In general, three or four sessions are enough to establish significant and long-lasting changes for our clients.
Evaluations and feedback we’ve received from participants, managers and HR professionals have demonstrated the efficacy of our approach to resolving common problems experienced by employees.
We feel it’s the testimony of our clients that really demonstrates our success.
